Asked By:
Hi Pranay! The JEE 2017 syllabus is most probably going to be the same as that of the 2016 exam. Please understand that there is a Quantum leap in the syllabus from X to XI. While Studying for IIT-JEE you need to study a topic at least "TWICE or THRICE " to understand it completely. Asked By:
There is no need to repeat class XI. Your concepts will be clear only if you study with full concentration and practice as many problems as you can. There will be a break between your class XI and XII. That time you can revise all the syllabus of XI class, that will also help in better learning during class XII as many of the concepts of class XI will be used during class XII. Join a coaching if necessary to keep your momentum of learning going. That will also help to complete your syllabus in a targeted manner with proper planning. ... (read more)

This is not yet announced formally. The rational behind aptitude test is to ensure that coaching will/ may not help in cracking an aptitude test. But, there is coaching for CAT entrance also. Until we know the format of the test and level of questions, it is difficult to say in my opinion. You can devote some time to do questions from various aptitude tests, may be SAT kind of test. ...
