it is very tough to be select in jee without preparing 11th portion completely. First point is that almost 50% question are asked from 11th syllabus and second is that for preparing 12th class part you have to be sound in XI portion, so don't leave 11th portion incomplete. Try to do as much as you can.

You surely need to study the topics of 11th class because a big proportion of JEE mains include topics of Physics, Maths and Chemistry from 11th class. Topics like Mechanics, Kinematics, Complex numbers, Sequences and series, Calculus, Physical Chemistry etc. are a major portion of JEE. Skipping these topics can adversely affect your JEE score.
If you are having less time to prepare for these topics, you should try to just practice good questions from these topics. If you are having trouble in understanding 11th class topics, you should clarify your doubts as early as possible otherwise it can be too late and later on 12th class topics can also burden you.

Hi Aadil! It will be difficult to clear JEE Main without much knowledge of the portion from Class XI. This is because there is a balance between the questions asked from the topics of class XI and XII. Generally 50-55% of questions in the JEE Main paper are from class XI.Also, the questions from class XII portion often involve some concepts of XI in themselves. So, it is extremely important to be thorough with the Class XI syllabus if you want to crack the JEE Main exam. There is plenty of time left, and I would suggest that you start studying for the class XI topics from right this moment. If you are finding it difficult, I would recommend taking online tuition classes at spanedea.com
