mam, i had joined a coaching institute. so the objective exams are basically conducted by them and the questions in these exams are of a higher level ( though the topics are of the tenth class and it includes all subjects like maths, sst, science). what i actually wanted to ask is how to prepare for such exams and what things should one keep in mind while attempting the paper, what should be the bench-mark in order to get good results and what style of preparation and how much practise is required ?
Firstly Pritika you must have started your coaching classes recently. Secondly so far what you must have studied in school is very basic and questions asked on that are generally very straight. You right now do not have at all practice of answering high level as well as tricky questions. So at this point of time your focus should not be about result or marks, it should be completely about understanding any subject conceptually as well as thoroughly. Try to learn depth of every topic clearly and then practise questions related to that topic more and more at home. Read good books from where your concepts really become strong. List of books are given on the website. You can take those books and start reading them thoroughly. Do not expect instant results. Everything requires continuous and tireless efforts.Keep doing self study everyday for at least 6 to 7 hours and have courage and patience. Automatically everything will start falling at its place.
