First of all best of luck for your exams. While solving problems, first of all you need to be thorough with the concepts. It is not like if let say we have read the chapter one time and it is going to be enough. Your preparation strategy should be to at least read the chapter or topic as many times as possible. After that you should start solving problems. Second thing is that it is common that sometimes if questions are not getting solved, students generally gets frustrated. Take a little break or start studying something else. After some time, solve the problems again from a different perspective or from different approach.

You have one complete year to prepare for JEE. Of course, you won't be able to solve all the problems in books in your first attempt. For that you will surely have to look for solution. But, while looking at the solutions, you must understand the concept behind it and see what are the new things in the solution. And you should mark those good questions also which you were not able to solve in your first attempt. Then, after 3-4 days, try to solve those same questions again. You can ignore very easy questions in your second attempt. But, you should solve the good questions and those questions you had marked within a time duration and in one sitting only. For example, 30 questions in 1 hour. And then try to apply the concepts you had studied earlier.
Then after a week, try to do those same question in even less time, say, 30 questions in 40 min. This will also let you store the concepts you have learnt permanently in your mind and will also improve your speed. At last, in JEE, it is the speed which matters a lot.
