Hello Swetha,
Glad to see that you are so interested.
If you are planning for a self-study, as many of our's previous suggestions, you'll need to spend 5-6 hours a day in understanding the topics and practicing problems. It's okay that you missed, you still have time to cover up. As of now, go along with the schedule being taught in your school, like if Stereo Isomerism is taught in class today, after coming home read it up from the NCERT, from any reference that you are following and solve the problems. May be during the weekends or holidays, you can do the part of the begininng. At times you may find interlinked concepts, don't panic.. You'll be able to solve them once you are done with all the chapters.
You'll need to take the "divide and rule" path. Master concepts in parts, solve problems relating to that small part, finish the chapter, then try solving the moderate problems, clear your doubts off with your tutor and finally if you are all clear you can try difficult ones.
For reference books, I suggest Arihant's textbooks on various chapters for Maths and Physics. O.P.Tandon's Physical Chemistry and inorganic Chemistry books, Organic chemistry, I feel is a bit trickier to do by ones self atleast at your level, better you've a tutor for it, who would also be useful for other suggestions. Otherwise Organic Chemistry by Solomon's and Fryle is a good book.
Remember for appearing for advanced, you've to get through mains, which have easy-moderate problems solving which highly depends on your practice. So keep up your work going continually and also take chapter wise tests, many such are made available by various coachings or online.
All the best !

Hi Swetha,
Good to hear that you got good percentage in 11 grade and you are serious for IIT.
The very first thing is to believe in yourself that you have it in your dreams. Make sure that you revise and practice regularly.by following the daily timetable. Give proper importance to all the three subjects i.e.Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
You also need a proper study material which can guide you in the subjects.
While studying the subjects you should devote time in the theory as well as on solving good questions keeping in mind the time barrier.
Do not get into the habit of studying late into night, instead of that sleep early and get up early in the morning which will help your brain active maximum in the morning.
I think this will help you.
All the best
