About Anjulika Gupta

Objective

My objective behind teaching students is to satisfy their inquisitiveness towards the subject/ topic.

Anjulika Gupta as Tutor

I love teaching because it gives me an opportunity for interacting with students. Online teaching is a marvelous way to teach as it has lots of flexibility and the teacher can focus on student on an individual basis. My teaching philosophy and methodology is to “Keep Teaching Simple and Precise”. To help students to prepare for competitive exams I make sure their basics are strong and then I gradually build up on their basics to reach out to advance levels..
My experience in teaching is for more than 7 years now. I completed my Masters and Ph.D. in mathematics at IIT Kanpur. There I got a chance to learn from world renowned professors. I am having 7+ years of experience in teaching students of various levels, as I have tutored students at IIT Kanpur (during my Ph.D.), students of LNMIIT Jaipur and students of RVCE Bangalore (as an assistant professor). .

Educational Qualification

B.Sc. from DDU Gorakhpur University in Maths, 2001

M.Sc. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in Maths, 2003

Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in Combinatorial Optimization, 2009

Feedback

My experience with Mrs Anjulika has been very enjoyable.
I’ve gained so much understanding of Math, with every class. The nuances she touches upon is what it makes it a very interesting class. All doubts are addressed in detail making you learn a great deal from your doubts. The quality of Problems given helps establish the points learnt in learnt class, making it easier to solve more advance/harder problems.
Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to up skills

She is one of the most professional professors I have ever met in my life. Thought provoking, extremely encouraging and student friendly at the same time, these are rare qualities to find in any person.
Always came prepared to class with real world examples and was receptive to suggestions by students on solving a particular question.
Anjulika ma'am has the unique capability of removing the fear and kindling the love of mathematics in students.
I am grateful that I was her student in college.

Ms.Anjulika is an excellent teacher. She explains concepts in a logical and easily understandable way. She often shows multiple proofs for a particular formula: graphical, algebraic or geometrical. Also, she ensures that any doubts while learning and difficulties in solving exercises are addressed.

Ask a question

Put x=0 and y=0 in the given equation. Get [f(0)]^2-f(0)=0 or f(0) [f(0) -1] =0, now since f(0) !=0, f(0) = 1. now put x=0 and y=7, to get f(7) = 8. ...

Answer is 1. Hint: Use formula of tan (A+B) to find out tan A tan B. Take tan 10 and tan 80 together and tan 20 and tan 70 together. ...

I can suggest about preparing maths for IIT. Preparing for maths does not means learning couple of formulaes and apply them. The basic concept should be very clear which means knowing how we got that formula so that if some tricky changes in the problem has been done, student is easily able to tackle it. Student should take topic one by one and ...
